due to the mysteries and complexity of understanding the issues related to the revelation , has long been considered by islamic scholars . revelation is considered from different aspects . among the islamic thinkers believe that this is not the only koran that has been revealed to prophet mohammad ( pbuh ) but also the non - quran by revelation . one of the approaches in this field is the subject of revelation . that is , the origin and مصدر of prophet muhammad ( pbuh ) is revealed . the same as the holy quran has been given to them , tradition is given them by revelation . the main question is what are the reasons for this theory in the history of islamic scholars ? accordingly , the purpose of this research is historical analysis of this theory in order to extract and examine the quranic evidences and its validity . this research has been presented using library resources and descriptive - analytical method and the results of this study , that the origin of the theory of revelation was among the scholars of tradition shafi ' i and it was mentioned in the shiite sources as the inspiration of imam shafi ' i and the sayings of imam ع . among the tradition of " " اریکه " " and the movable tradition of حسان " " عطیه " " , among the shiite scholars.
